Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
If you've always wanted to get a robot vacuum, now is the time. CNET's best-rated models will be available for Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts as high as 57%..
The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that is equipped with smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its run time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot
The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. The most significant innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle detection system. This uses AI to identify objects like charging cords and shoes. It's the first robot to send you images of objects that it encounters, meaning you can tell that it is safe to avoid it.
The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop we have ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills easily leaving no trace it was there. It's easy to control through the iRobot Home app, which allows you to schedule cleaning times and set up Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't vacuum areas you don't want it to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can control it from start to stop using your voice.
The design is also more appealing than the competition. It has an elegant, top piece that resembles toys rather than the loud and annoying robot. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System automatically empty which is great to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests, the j7+ was quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in its place rather than scattering it around the floor. It was able capture sand, small gravel and even a little grit. Most robots could not do this. It did all without getting caught up in our pet's hair.
While it's not quite as efficient as the $1,217 iRobot Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum, which isn't able to clean stairs, the J7+ is an excellent choice for those who need both mopping and a vacuum in their home. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates, and at times it's hard to determine whether the update is working until you see it in the action.
2. Roborock Q5+
When you're looking for a vacuum that does more than simply clean floors, the best option is probably a hybrid. These robots come with a water tank, so they can vacuum and mop simultaneously. They also come with a variety of extra features like smart mapping and small object avoidance and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. The negative is that they can be expensive when purchased at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they often drop in price.
Roborock is the manufacturer of some of our most loved robotic vacuums and the Q5+ does not disappoint. This is the least expensive model of their auto-empty line. Although it might not come with some of the expensive features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories) however, it's a great choice when you're willing to make some compromises to save a few dollars.
The Q5+ is remarkably gentle when it comes to obstacles such as walls and table legs. This makes it a great option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough when it comes to cleaning up dust bunnies, which is an area which many robot vacuums fail. The Q5+'s navigation system is top-quality, with a few misses on walls and corners.
Like other Roborock devices, the Q5+ can be controlled by the buttons on the device or via the Roborock app. The app lets you begin and stop cleanings, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map, or re-label rooms.
If you opt for the Q5+ model, it comes with a brand new auto-empty dock, which was specifically designed to make this robot simple to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver but once in place it can be accomplished with relative ease. It has a large LCD screen, which is useful in setting up schedules and adjusting settings. This feature isn't essential for everyone, but it can help easily keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's astonishingly clever in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and features are some of the best on the market however it's expensive.
The base station is attractive and is hidden when it's not in use, and the dimensions are quite small. But the station's main selling point is how it automates many tasks and functions that most other robots leave up to you. It can store dirty and clean water and also electrolyze and warm the water. Many other robots require you to perform this.
Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's the only robovac I've tried that does a good job picking up the dust from floors with no. It's also not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
However, the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly in terms of navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs, meaning it is sometimes stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of your home. It's not able navigate stairs as well as some competitors, and doesn't come with a dock that allows you to create an exclusive cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great choice for those who want a vacuum robot that can do it all.
If you're looking to save money or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of alternatives available. A lot of eufy models are considerably less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for instance is less expensive, but offers more features, such as stairs and a fully-function Dock, that provides an improved overall experience when vacuuming on bare floors carpets with low pile, and even high-pile carpets.
4. eufy RoboVac G30
Eufy, a Anker company is a long-standing leader of creating robot vacuums that strike the right balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning of hard and carpet flooring, and a mopping function at an affordable price. It's easy to set it up, simply connect one of the side brush and turn it on, then plug in your charging dock. The app takes you through a few steps to connect it to Wi-Fi, and the G30 is ready to go. You'll need to leave the dock near an outlet for power and enough space for it to move around but.
The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be exact and will fit under many sofas and other furniture with low clearance. The design is more modest than other models, sporting sleek black finish and three physical buttons: Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Clean (which scrubs a space in a spiral pattern for two minutes). You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.
The way the G30 cleans is what sets it apart from its rivals. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of the immovable objects it encounters and then keeps track of what it has already cleaned and what it isn't able to access. When it needs to recharge, it automatically returns to its base, and then resumes cleaning where it started.
The eufy G30 has its flaws however. The iRobot Roomba 675 is better constructed, has lower recurring costs, is charged more quickly and has the same battery life while offering superior performance on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It also comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't need to be emptied as often and comes with a set of boundary strips to restrict it from certain areas. The G30, on the other hand is more affordable and a lot simpler to maintain. Its smaller dust canister does not require emptying as often and is less prone to suffocating bulky material like cereal.
